We are a sustainable agriculture farm.
We raise our cattle on great pasture but they do get a daily cup or so of supplement feed grains (they came to us used to hand feeding preparing for a feed lot, and we weaned them back over to grass but kept the routine to keep them oriented to us... and we like petting them in the mornings,) no daily antibiotics, no growth hormone, no steroids.
Earlier this year our steers came as yearlings from another local farm and the steers were just beginning grain fed and had to wean back over to pasture, so we basically just keep them used to us by giving a total of what was down to about a cup or two and is now about 5 or so cups of feed each in the mornings, which is heavier than normal while the bull is here and they are hopefully starting the girls first pregnancies. We occasionally supplement minerals by block as needed through the season based on how they are doing with the weather.
We love all of our animals and interact with them every day. If they need something they will get whatever our vet recommends for their health and safety. We’ve been fortunate and have had no issues this year and have some great looking cattle.
We are taking orders for Quarter, Whole, and Half with Trenton Processing scheduled to take them in on 11/18/2020. You need to order right away and be prepared to go over your cut lists with Trenton Processing as we move forward with the process.
Quarter = $3.25 a pound hanging weight PLUS PROCESSING AND USDA FEE. $100.00 non-refundable Deposit
Half = $3.10 a pound hanging weight PLUS PROCESSING AND USDA FEE. $200.00 non-refundable Deposit
Whole = $3.00 a pound hanging weight PLUS PROCESSING AND USDA FEE. $400.00 non-refundable Deposit
HOW IT WORKS:
1 - You pay Twin Circle Farm LLC your non-refundable deposit now
2- You will be electronically invoiced for the the balance of the hanging weight price ONCE WE DELIVER TO TRENTON and once they give us the hanging weight for your order. Expect that bill to be due in full on the 18th or 19th of November.
3 - After we are paid, we will notify Trenton... somewhere close to this they will call you for your cut list when they are ready to discuss your order (normally right around the delivery date depending on their timing.)
4 - They will then process your meat according to your cut list and will contact you when it’s ready for pickup.
5 - When Processing and any curing is complete, you will pay Trenton Processing for the processing, and the USDA fee. You will then pickup your meat directly from Trenton Processing.
It looks like we should have hanging weights between 800 to 1000 pounds, could be a little less or more, be prepared.
